Happy new year everyone! It’s hard to believe it’s 2015 already. 2014 brought us a lot of good things, including our very own Etsy shop and this website. Getting everything up and running has turned out to be quite a challenge. So many ideas, never enough time. And it’s not just creating the products, but trying to get them “out there” as well. As a maker, it’s easy to forget that a finished product does not mean that you’re done. You are if you want the product to just sit on a shelf or your hard drive, but that wouldn’t be much fun now, would it? We love sharing our creations with you, but that can only happen if we make sure you know where to find them.
There were so many new things to learn (and there still are!): social media such as Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, you name it. And speaking of learning… English is not my native language and someone told me a long time ago that, when you own a business, you should present yourself as “we” and “us.” So that’s what I’ve been doing since I started out on this journey, but it just doesn’t feel right. I’m just a single person, who loves making things and who puts her heart and soul into her creations. I’m not a big company that mass produces things. So, from now on, there will be no more “we” and “us” unless I really am talking about more than one person. Time will tell if it’s the right thing to do, I’m learning by doing here, but it feels so much better.
If you’re here, though, that means you have found me, so I must also be doing something right! Still, it’s a big world out there and it is hard to find “your people”, and to have “your people” find you. At this point, you may be wondering where that freebie is that I promised. Don’t worry, I’m getting there… If you like my creations, I’d like to ask you to help me share my products with people like you and me. And, in this case, I take sharing quite literally. I’m giving away a free digital scrapbooking paper. You are free to use it in any way you want with only one restriction: please do not sell it. In return, I’d like to ask you for a small favor: please share the freebie with people who might also like my products and let them know where to find me. If you share the file on social media, please include a link to the home page of this website: http://www.weheartpaperdesigns.com
So, drum roll, the all important download link: Free Digital Scrapbooking Paper Download
In most browsers, it will appear in a popup window. Just right-click the image and then choose “Save picture as…” (or the equivalent in your browser).
This paper is part of my set of Baby Pink Digital Scrapbook Papers, which you can find in my Etsy shop.
